JVC Autocal Software V12 calibration for 2019 RS1000/RS2000/RS3000/NX5/NX7/NX9

I prefer to calibrate gamma first and then color. My thought is that whatever collateral effect (if any) a color inaccurate Spyder may introduce, using the most accurate meter at the end would fix it.
It is also the sequence that the software follows when the user select a gamma+color calibration with the same meter.

I seem to be getting a bit of red push...ran gamma with Spyder x and color with i1pro2. colour temp 100 percent white calibrated in around 6400...don’t mind importing my Init file to reset but thought I would ask for any suggestions...Red gain/offset or color slider tweak or...? Any suggestions would be appreciated...I’ve re run Autocal a couple times and keep getting red push or what seems to be red push to my eyes...thanks

Have you checked with an different software if you really have a red push? You can't rely 100% on your eyes :)
You can also just log with JVC software and check.

Thanks, just learning this stuff so have not ventured into any other software...full time job learning 2 different meters and Autocal

What would I look for in the Autocal log?

The log would just show you what you saw after the previous calibration.  

Thanks Dom...I restored the Init file...now I could run color log and look at red numbers and then run color non log and compare log numbers...just rewatching with Init file, may have been my eyes but I should be able to validate now...

The first pic is log, the 2nd pic is color calibration...would any numbers in here indicate any kind of red push, that I would notice? I see the red number is elevated in the 2nd pic...could that be the cause? If it is, how would u suggest I correct it? Thanks

I see no red push. Your measure was good before and it is almost perfect after calibration. Enjoy your VPR!

Thanks...I had restored the Init file, calibrated gamma and the ran color log (1st pic) and color calibration (2nd pic). would the red numbers be dramatically elevated in the 2nd pic, if there was red push, instead of just slightly elevated like they are?

The pre-cal is slightly too blue, and the post cal is slightly too red.  Each on its own is negligible but apparently you were able to sense the 240K total difference.
Note that the post cal result is closer to the curve as well, meaning it’s more accurate (closer to D65) even though both are about 100K away from 6500K.
If you prefer less red, reduce the Red gain slightly and run another log, to get closer to the D65 target point (not just the 6500K reading).

Thanks Dominic, I’ll try that this weekend while avoiding the crowds at Sobeys :'(...would the next step in this for me be HCFR so I could actually visually see what’s happening?

Is there a document or a place that gives those reference values to compare them to ? 

The reference x, y, L values depend on the colour profile of the projector picture mode you select when running Autocal.  For BT.709, Red would be
x=0.64, y=0.33, L=0.2126
etc.

For the BT.2020 colour profile the reference gamut far exceeds the capability of the projector, so it makes more sense to compare against the DCI-P3 gamut:
