Change your vertical scale to every 5hz. Every 10 make the measurement look flatter than it actually is. Yes, this is a huge rabbit hole. For me it has lead to new speakers, new subs, more subs and more amps. Also to a baffle wall system and EQ devices like MiniDSP 10x10HD's and a couple DBX Driverack PA2's. That cheap little mic can get very expensive.

Darn it - you would say new subs !

I'm quite pleased at the improvement not only with bass but in the overall sound, although I did move my wides and L / R a bit. The Mini DSP is worth the effort. LFE is off the charts but tight, and fast. More changes coming !

Time to updated my build thread ( " finished " - ha ! ). Two new SVS SB4000's to replace the PC12 Plus subs. Watched a couple of movies with friends over the weekend ( Baby Driver on 4K and Lawrence of Arabia on 4K ). Both sounded outstanding ! 

Bass in my theater has gone to another level now for sure. With a pair of SB2000's on either side of my screen in front of my theater, and now a pair of SB4000's to replace the PC12+ subs on either side in back, it's killer. So far, using the Mini DSP HD - WOW ! The bass is amazing! Tight and fast, and you can certainly feel it. No downside in my room going from ported to sealed. Love it ! The subs all play well together.

Re-vamped the main L / R position ( slightly wider ), and the SB2000's were matched output wise to the SB4000's. Quite the pain moving subs back and forth, but worth it I'd say.

Wow Craig, looks and obviously sounds great. I did wonder about you using the SB versions instead of PB, but with the quantity of subs you have the individual output needs aren't as important so having the tighter sealed models makes sense. I feel fortunate to have schlepped a couple of Hsu VTF-15Hs into my living room (1 front, 1 reart) before moving into our house a few years back, but without a dedicated room that's it for me.

That would be two on each side - the maximum I can fit up front. And two SB2000's are a good match output wise with a SB4000. The idea is to have enough " overkill " built in so the subs aren't straining when playing " Midway " or " Hacksaw Ridge ".

With the red velvet curtains in place, nobody has a clue where the bass is coming from, other than seeing the SB4000's behind them.

It looks like you have the left rear sub placed about 3 feet behind the seating near its corner?     Is the right sub placed symmetrically at the right corner of the seating?

It's pretty close. They are the same distance from the back of the couch. The SB4000 on the opposite side from the equipment rack is offset due to the popcorn machine - maybe an 18" difference. Using a Mini DSP HD to adjust them, it doesn't seem to matter. The room isn't symmetrical - it's enclosed on that side and open the the exit hallway on the other side. I have moved from seat to seat along all 14' of couch - tactile bass feeling is now  ( thanks to Mini DSP, 30 bass traps and the SB4000's ) very even from seat to seat. It's about as even in every seat as I'd hoped for. I'm sure I can improve it - and I might try and move that sub a little to make it more even - and run REW and the Mini DSP again. When the heat wave power failures are over. A power failure in the middle of that would be a disaster.

Now that I have started using REW and a MiniDSP HD, the sealed subs don't lack for anything over ported in my theater. I find with movies like " Baby Driver " or " Bohemian Rhapsody " or " Rocket Man ", bass is incredibly tight and fast. And you can certainly feel it. The Tiger tank in " Fury " still makes the room shake as much as the ported cylinders too. Too bad I didn't have room for 4 SB4000's - one in each corner. It would have made level matching them so much easier! I now have nearly identical bass and tactile LFE feel in all 6+ seats spread over 14' of sectional sofa ! That was the goal. It's incredibly even from seat to seat, and the " boomy " or " bloated " bass I tended to have at times prior to installing the 29 bass traps is also gone. Took a lot of time, effort and some money, but mission accomplished !

The tunnel gun fight part of John Wick 2 sounds better than ever !
