I tend to agree you can skip The Incredible Hulk. It has a different actor than who plays him in the rest of the Avengers movies. And his origin story in this movie doesn't really matter that much.I would not skip Spider Man: Homecoming which sits between Civil War and Dr. Strange in my viewing order. The character takes on more importance later, especially in End Game. The followup Spiderman: Far From Home takes place after the events of End Game. (I will watch any movie that features Zendaya.)
I'm taking this under advisement as the 4K Blu-ray is only $14.00. David Vaughn - what say you ? Is it important to the story line enough to be in or out?
Craig, I say get them all, especially the Spiderman films...the relationship between he and Tony Stark is key to the Universe. I'm a bit of OCD though...I always need to complete a set As for The Hulk, the second one is quite good (skip the first). I enjoyed it and kind of wish Norton was invited back for the rest of the series, but Ruffalo fit the part perfectly so it's not too upsetting.
I could not imagine the Black Widow / Hulk relationship being the same with Ed Norton in the role.
After reading some reviews I've ordered it ! I've capitulated on a few titles I didn't think were critical according to some reviews and got them all - and other than the Hulk - which most sites say you can skip like this one - " The Incredible Hulk (2008 ). Most definitely SKIP. Hell, Marvel Studios pretty much pretends it didn’t happen. Edward Norton, who starred as the Hulk’s alter ego, Bruce Banner, was replaced almost immediately after the movie was released. It’s not a bad movie, just not really relevant. It's not a bad movie and it has its moments. Norton was fired because he supposedly was difficult to work with.
It got great reviews so I'm in. Heck - it sounds fun the more I read. And what's another 2 hours in the grand scheme of the Marvel movies anyway !
The Spidey movies are, if nothing else, fun. Wisecracking Peter Parker as Spiderman was my favorite comic to read as a tween/teen in the mid-late 70's. I've actually enjoyed them all from the Tobey Maguire versions, to Andrew Garfield (though he's definitely 3rd place) to the current Tom Holland. Far From Home - which occurs after End Game so might not be quite as essential as Homecoming for the whole MCU journey - got some mixed reviews for having a lot of high school angsty drama but it was funny and clever, and Zendaya is terrific. However the ending is HUGE and mandatory viewing for what's coming next.I also really liked Into the Spider-Verse, and IMO it is one of the most successful attempts at literally translating the comic book visual style to the big screen.

Ant Man is great...comedy/action film that's a blast to watch. Michael Pena is outstanding as the comic relief. Don't forget "Spiderman: Far From Home" as the cherry on top! We watched Endgame last night (second time for me in the past 6 weeks). Such a great film. While it's 3 hours long it never drags or feels like its wearing out its welcome. Far From Home on the agenda tonight to finish the movie marathon...what a fabulous ride it's been too!
