Just landed Amsterdam ISE... If anyone wonders where the JVC RS620/X9500 unit went missing it will be because I've stolen it
Quick review.. So I went from an rs400 to the rs520... I think the ability to play games along with the speed of the remote control was worth the jump... I also love how it automatically switches to hdr when detected. Picture quality i cant tell much but im sure its better.. For sure its a lot brighter i can see that the minute it turned on. Anyways ill post more i have to run out.. Now i have to sell the rs400 with 280 hours ill post it on the classifieds over the weekend..
Ok so ive had more time now with the rs520 and the picture quality is a big jump from the rs400.. This projector is the bomb everything about it is PERFECTO! Now i have to make sure the wife doesn't kill me she saw the bill I was trying to hide from her.. Not only that bill but also the bill for the receiver ps4 pro..
I should have one of these shipping to me shortly (RS620). Once I get one in and installed I'll report back on my findings here on the forum in comparison to last year's models and the new RS4500.
Just a side note...Back in the day when I had my print subscription to Home Theater and Sound and Vision magazines, I never thought I'd have an actual Editor/Reviewer posting on a thread I'd started on an enthusiast site...! Ah...feeling a little accomplished...lol
I have my 520 all setup and I am really enjoying it. I also made a pretty big change to my room by moving it into the room behind my HT. I went from a RS500/HW45ES setup to just the RS520.
Do you have the Blu Ray's " Cloud Atlas " and " Interstellar " ? I could always see picture noise on parts of those Blu Rays on my RS600, that I no longer see on my RS4500. I'd be curious if it's still there on the RS620.
