We have the new Enlightor-Neo stock imported from the UK for immediate availability.  It's roll width causes a height limitation of around 72".  As we'll be looming it locally I'll be making a few tweaks, so as the old disclaimer goes "subject to change", but as it is now it's a fantastic screen material.  Higher gain than the Enlightor-4K, much more matte, 0.5dB more AT (still flat), a whiter looking color and while the pattern is not randomized like the Enlightor-4K, its structure is shrunk down so small it passes the challenges I make at demonstrations to come up and put your nose on the material and tell me if you can see any structure.

The next show it will be demonstrated at is in the Dolby Atmos room at the LA Audio Show (LAAS) with JVC (their new laser 4K RS4500), Trinnov, and Stark Sound.

Samples are available if you contact me, Jon or Cody.

Cheers,
Chris

Does it have less sheen than EN4K? In bright scenes, like snow, I see a sheen with EN4K? I do view close at 9'-6". Is the pricing the same as EN4K?

Much less sheen, yes.  At AXPONA (and coming up LA Audio Show), we challenge people to come put their nose up to it and see if they can see anything but pure whiteness.

Pricing is the same as EN4K.

Let me know what you think of the sample when you get it.

The masking system is great too - lots of folks will want to check it out.

It was a very clean artifact free picture with the Wolf version of the RS4500. No screen texture either !

I spent a fair amount of time hanging out with Chris at CES on Tuesday. He had a 130" wide 2.37:1 AV Black 1.2 gain screen, which even with lots of light in the room, looked outstanding with the Wolf 4K laser projector ! These are all moving images !

Thanks for the pics, Craig.  You look like your 7 feet tall standing next to Chris.  ;D  Cool screen backlighting!  ;) :)
Remind me again, the Wolf is a RS4500?  I don't think it is.  isn't this a RS-6XX series with E-shift but with laser lighting?  So is this unit any brighter that the lamp based units?  You probably can't really get a good judgment of the noise of the projector could you?

EDIT:  I just looked at the Wolf Cinema website and didn't know they modded so many different model projectors.

That's not me - that's Chris Deutsch of JVC - and he might be 7' tall ! Yes, this is the Wolf version of the RS4500 ! The Wolf version is very quiet - I think they install a muffler.

Ah, sorry.  The picture is a little dark and I didn't think you were that tall.  Nice projector,  that has to be a hefty price.

Yep, they add another little box, that pretty much has to be a Lumagen. :)

Seymour Screen Excellence Trim

Since I am buying one of these masking screens, I thought I would post about this product. The masking screens are available in CIW with top and bottom masking or CIH with horizontal masking. These masking screens have a very shallow depth, only 2.7".

All of Seymour Screen Excellence fabrics are available using the grip channel for their Enlightor acoustically transparent fabrics or with posts, grommets and o-rings for their Radiant or Ambient-Visionaire fabrics.

The screen masking uses independently controllable DC motors that can be controlled with the included wall switch and RF remote or you can upgrade to their RQ motor controller and add options such as IR, 12vDC trigger, dry contact, RS-232, or intermediate stops.

Another feature of this masking screen are the removeable, replaceable velvet wrapped frame covers. So if you ever damage the screen velvet, Seymour Screen Excellence can easily offer you a replacement piece.

I ordered a Trim L110 with optional motor control, IR and Neo fabric.

Sizes available:

Anyone an owner of a Seymour ambient visionaire 1.3 screen. Received mine end of last year, it is a fantastic screen. What do you think of yours?
I opted for the magnetic masking panels as well. Just something about masking on 16:9 screen to make It scope.

I will be given a gift of some Seymour UF screen material when a good friend upgrades his screen.

I will be replacing my spandex white over black screen.  From what i read the gain of that material is 1.0?  supposedly the spandex is 0.7 gain

any insight to this material would be welcome :)
