I do not believe that the owners are doing very well these last few years and that’s a problem because we don’t wanna see movies disappear from movie houses. Very interesting. My prediction is that Zegler's Hollywood career is about to be over very swiftly. She sounds like a spoiled brat who has been pampered her entire life. Gadot has handled this extremely professionally.

Interesting article and especially the point that Disney being sued by Carano from one side of the political spectrum opened them to being reluctant to restrain commentary coming from the other side. Unfortunately these days it's increasingly a "damned (by one side) if you do, damned (by the other side) if you don't" world. And you can call it red & blue, or orange and green, or whatever you want b/c it's mostly going to equally flip about based on who's saying it and their "side", not the substance or any nuance.

I doubt it's this bad, but it's getting skewered with negative reviews (and I'm sure many of the "reviewers" never even watched the film).

I think, according to Rotten Tomatoes, that more people have given out bad reviews than the amount of people who ever saw the film!🤓. The Dwarves are mostly unhappy but Grumpy  seemed okay with it. 

The Prince sent out a press release stating that he did not appear in this movie, but he did want to direct.

Barry, here's something out of Deadline that we can both agree is good news:

Live-Action 'Tangled' Movie Put On Pause At Disney

Maybe we'll see an end to the live action remakes and a return to original productions out of this Snow White failure at the box office.

Live-Action 'Tangled' Movie Put On Pause At Disney

Maybe we'll see an end to the live action remakes and a return to original productions out of this Snow White failure at the box office.

All of these "live action" films were just a profit machine for Disney. Think about it...very little script work, no IP to pay for (since they already own it), and a very "safe" investment because let's face it, parents want to share a childhood memory with their kids (can't blame them for that). Unfortunately for Disney, the tide has turned on their of their biggest money makers--remakes, Star Wars, and Marvel. Throw in the cash monster that Disney+ turned into and some type of change needed to be made. Hopefully some of the decision makers are looking for new work soon and they get an influx of talent, although I'm not sure Disney is the place to be anymore.

I was down in LA this week for work and spoke to a former Disney employee and to say that their experience for working for the company was underwhelming would be an understatement. Comments included treated poorly, poorly compensated, and a culture of not caring is pervasive throughout the rank and file. In fact, my wife noticed this the last time she went to Disneyland with out adult daughter in December. She said she witnessed multiple employees being rude, garbage on the ground, and very poor food. Furthermore, the cost of entry has gone up massively the past 10 years. Walt Disney must be rolling over in his grave.

This is sad.

Diosney had always been an innovator.  The first talking cartoon, the first one in color, the full full movie. Even teh beginning of the Marfel era was innovative.  Now they are just a Xerox machine.

They went through a very bad sage, jsut after Disney passed until the Little Mermaid.  They really need to shake things up

Same with Disney world. It’s hey day was 80’s 90’s where you were treated like royalty. And the parks were pristine. 
now everything is a money grab. No original ideas. All just IP attractions. And so overcrowded despite costing upwards of $180 per day
