Great close game. Was everybody fooled by the tubi ad? https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/tubi-fakes-out-viewers-2023-super-bowl-ad-commercial-streaming-service-1235323451/half time was good as well.
Penalty was iffy
Haha, yeah that did get us. I suspected pretty quickly that it was a fake out but my wife (who of course didn't have the advantage of being on the remote and knowing that I hadn't touched it) kind of freaked out.
Assume you're talking about the defensive holding call late that gave KC a huge 1st down. I thought so too initially. The first replay didn't show the full play and Mike Pereira said there was more to it but the Eagles player later admitted he tugged the jersey and hoped the officials would overlook it. But looking at it again on YouTube it was a really small tug, that could definitely have been overlooked. I can see both sides of it. Can't seem to have an NFL game these days without a controversial call late.
just as a ref you KNOW that call is going to 100% end the game so put the flag away unless its egregious ugg
there was no pulling of the jersey. if thre was it was almost unnoticable at slow mo speeds never mind in real time. the NFL constantly has these penalties change the game. thats a huge issue. and it seems more and more common since gambling became widely legal...just a thought
