OMFG... the Bengals got unbelievably screwed with the officials giving KC a do-over on 3rd down then calling a defensive holding for an automatic 1st down. Just beyond bad.
If you look at the replay, the official time keeper was blowing his whistle and trying to stop the play before the ball was snapped. Unfortunately, that stadium is so damn loud, no one could hear.

The game changing play was hitting Mahommes out of bounds. There was zero chance of making a 50+ yard field goal when the temperature is that low. The gift 15 yards sealed the game.

Yeah, I saw that later. And agreed as I posted on the late hit on Mahomes, that was really bad and dumb.

Craig, lol... on behalf of football fans, you're welcome, enjoy your ski day in 13 days!

Purdy has a torn UCL...they will reattach it and it will be a 6 month recovery. So sad to hear for the kid because he's been so great for the NFL and seems like a great kid in his interviews. Complete class is all I can say. I hope he regains 100% of his health.

Best of luck to Purdy, he's been a great story. Man it's hard to believe the SF QB injuries. 4 guys in one season is just unheard of.

David - I've seen some SF fans grousing that Shanahan doesn't do enough in protection schemes for his QBs. I don't watch enough to know, but it's not just this year that injuries have happened. Obviously Jimmy G has had multiple seasons with games missed due to injuries. Do you think there's anything to that or just bad luck this year magnifying that look?

The Lance injury people were saying it was his fault because it was a run up the middle, but it just was bad luck how a defensive lineman fell on his ankle a certain way. Same thing with Jimmy G's injury...just a fluke. In regard to Purdy's, the TE whiffed on the block. I've seen that play run countless times and it works well if the TE doesn't blow it.

I want to see the Eagles lose. Worst sports fans in the USA reside in Philly. Classless thugs.

I do my taxes on Super Bowl Sunday. No one bothers me. I can get a lot done. I am not a football fan so I usually don’t even know who’s playing.

Don't have a horse in the race except for my guy Clyde Edwards-Helaire being reactivated by KC. But I pretty strongly suspect the Eagles are overall better with KC being really thin at WR. Never know with Mahomes and Andy Reid though.

I also don't have a horse in the race. I look forward to seeing the commercials. :)

My main take from SB 1st half is I’m glad that Joe Burrow didn’t have to play vs the Philly DL with a backup OL.

Great win for KC. They made the plays when they needed to and really dominated in the second half. I'm SO happy Philly lost the game!
