First panel up around the surround speaker. Was not as hard as I first thought. Really happy how it came out

Only got the one done. Spent most the day mudding  the rest of the basement

Got the door hung...easy

Put panel(s) in the door. Not so easy. I tried one big panel and that was a nightmare lol. So I broke it into two small panels and a gap filler panel. And I actually like the little happy accident it makes as a design. Glad that parts over lol. Just the back of the theater to go...gonna take a break though. 1. It’s pouring out. And I do all my cuts outside. 2. I’m so sick of building frames and  stretching  fabric lol

Finished a few more panels. The one covering the control panels the bottom wood frame broke as I was putting it up. I was able to bandaid it for the time being. But you can see the slight bow. I will repair it down the line lol

The main panels im using 2” brad nails.

So nothing new to report.  Been working on the rest of the basement finish, made a run to the dump (so happy i did that was getting stressed by the mess0.

I only have the backwall to finish in the theater.  Been watching a lot of movies though which is good.  I will def finish it so don't worry, I'm not that guy for sure, but have to get the basement in order for the inspection of the new insurance company!  Yep ours dropped us from this small claim, absolutely ridiculous, they want to collect the years of premium payments but don't want to pay out A $7,000 CLAIM smh

Also some sad news, yesterday was one of the hardest things i have ever had to do, I had to put our dog Emma (13 year old puggle) down  she couldn't walk well, lift her head or eat very well.  Her quality of life really dropped in the past week nor two.  So sad, I am still reeling from the whole experience, gut wrenching!

Anyways Hope al is well with everyone, more updates to come

So sorry to hear about your dog. I'll be in a similar situation soon. Our 12 year old dog has Cushings Disease and generally the life expectancy once they come down with it is about 24 months or so and it's bee about 9 months now. So far the homeopathic treatment we have him on is going well but he doesn't have the energy he once had. I dread that last trip the vet and I can sympathize with the pain you're going through. Whatever you do, avoid watching "The Art of Racing in the Rain" unless you want to ball your eyes out.

Been there. Wife & I have been adopting rescue dogs the last several years. Have 2 now. Our 1st developed pancreatic cancer after 6 months (she was only around 5-6 years old) and even though that's all the time we had with her we developed a lot of bonding and love - my wife bawled for a week.

Sorry to hear that. Our dog is a rescue as well and he's so loving. We will miss him a lot.

almost done with fabric panels. Have to redo a few cause for some reason unknown I stopped used keep pocket screws and went to brad nails to hold the frames together. And they don’t allow for the fabric to stay tight. Also I ran out of wood (agin)
