You know that moving in the equipment and seats before the theater is completed is a progress killer. Hard to finish, when you can go in there and just watch movies. It usually adds months to the build time.

Small update

Got the goal
Post screen wall up along with rebuilding the screen frame. Need to grab magnets to put into the frame for the 1.85 masking panels. 

Also put up an old salvaged fabric panel to see if I like the large panels. I think I’m going with 2x2 panels

And had to setup the tv to watch the game haha and work

yup!  bought some wood already for them and a 45 deg champher bit for the router.  def not looking forward to building them....but yes will make it look almost finished....at least i have the TV to keep my attention lol

some OC703 is being delivered next week.  i still have to "not tightly stuff" the screenwall cavity with r49...and wrap my screen with spandex..

I would build a whole bunch of panels and then start installing them at the front. That way you can get the screen in place and actually use the theater, if wanted. You can't go places right now, so getting it usable is what I would do. Because fastening panels is not a messy job and you can add them as you get several more built.

consider it being done ...first panels will be the velvet blackout panels for around the screen...then ill work my way back from there

Well there it is. Screen rewrapped and hung. Bad news watched a full movie lol 

No worries I’m not one to keep from completing things. Just was over a month since I watched a movie. So watched “passengers” 

Only bummer is I remembered to put magnets on for masking panels after I already had the spandex in. Uggg. So no masking panels. Unless you guys can figure another way to attach them when needed

Ill be filling the screen wall w pink fluffy...should i cut it smaller so i can stack the pieces horizontally as opposed to vertically?

I watched a movie last night w zero acoustic treatments and was shocked how good it sounded....so we are in a good starting spot!

Velvet panels built and installed. You can see the pink fluffy behind the screen. Filling all cavities I ran a little short but will go back and put more in

Best purchase I made since last build. The pneumatic stapler   Wow wrapping panels is soooooo much easier than a hand stapler lol
