4K UHD Movie Deals !

Best Buy seems to be clearancing out some of their 4K SteelBooks.  Some titles are as low as $9.99, including Disney classics such as Snow White, The Lion King, Aladdin, Star Wars Episodes 4, 5, and 6, and others.

Quantities are limited, and copies may only be available in-store.  Still, there are some bargains to be had.  I picked up three to add to my collection.

With Best Buy dropping physical media this year, we're likely to see some bargains pop up, but they may be available in-store only.

For example, The Fifth Element is just $9.99 right now, as is Dr. Strangelove.

Worth keeping an eye out for as they dispose of their stock.

As expected, Best Buy has added even more 4K movies to their ongoing clearance plans.  There are even some Disney steelbooks this time, such as Ant Man and the Wasp:  Quantumania, Black Panther:  Wakanda Forever, Lightyear, Eternals, Thor:  Love and Thunder, Strange World.

Availability is limited, and most titles aren't available for shipping, so it'll be luck of the draw if any title is available in a store close to you, but you can't beat these prices.

i am a completist. Especially of th Marvel Age. In fact, just this morning I was asked for ten scans of their comics.  But I have given up. I will not be getting Marvels. After Eternals, Thor 4, and the bad streaming shows, I give up.

I hope you guys are getting some good 4K deals. The closest BB to me a about a 45 minute drive. At today's gas prices, it tacks on an additional $17 in fuel in my truck.

Fortunately, I pass right by a Best Buy on my way home from work and they still have a pretty good amount of movies on their shelves, so it's working out well for me.

New deals are popping up each day, so it's definitely worth checking out for anyone within a certain distance.  But you do have to figure in gas prices.

I mentioned in the Best Buy thread that there was a rumor out there that Walmart would be getting a bunch of their 4K SteelBooks and dumping them in their infamous $5 bins.

Well, I'm happy to report that the rumor is true.  Checked out three stores tonight and my wife checked out one and only two had the deal, but what a deal it was.

Titles I saw included:  Belly, Universal Soldier, Total Recall, Sicario, T2, Requiem for a Dream, 3 From Hell, Dirty Dancing, Hitman's Bodyguard and/or Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, Saw, Spiral, Chaos Walking, John Wick 2.  

I probably missed some there, but you might want to take a shot at your local stores.  There are no price tags on the movies, they're just in regular wrapping.
