How is your lamp holding up ? My RS600 so far ( all measurements in low lamp ) -Brand new - 12 / 8 / 2015 - 285 Lux = 1161.98 lumens. 1 - 6 - 2016 ( 45 hours on lamp ) - 272 Lux = 1108.98 lumens.11 - 21 - 2016 ( 258 hours on lamp ) - 224 Lux = 913.27 lumens.Looks like I'm down about 21% from new. With my Stewart Cima Neve I can still get 22.89 foot lamberts in low lamp ( iris open ) and easily get 16 or 17 foot lamberts with the manual iris closed down a bit.
I dont have a way to measure the Lumens. I have about 300 hours on my bulb...I use low light mode with auto iris 2
You need to get a light meter. How do you know how many foot lamberts you are watching at ?
LEDs and Laser eliminate the loss over time don't they?
i dont know to be honest....my previous PJ when caliobrated locally was at 16Fl...and this is noticeably brighter...so more than that? lol...I should get it calibrated professionally....and/or a meter
This is the light meter I use...$16.99https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JWUT6O/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm sure it works, but I wanted something more accurate myself. Bring it and we can compare readings.
You could get a DR. light meter on Amazon for $ 40.00. https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Meter-Digital-Illuminance-Light-LX1330B/dp/B005A0ETXY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480533239&sr=8-1&keywords=DR.+light+meterThis is the ( etter ) one I've had for 6 or 7 years. Very handy.https://www.amazon.com/AEMC-CA813-Function-Lightmeter-Resolution/dp/B008S0AHSY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480533278&sr=8-1&keywords=AEMC+CA813.+light+meter
