Movie 9/10 - I liked it anyway - YMMV.

I watched this movie on 4K Blu-ray last night. Overall I thought the picture looked excellent. There is light film grain on the parts shot on film, but detail at times was top notch. The parts shot on video were clean and sharp, as is expected.
This disc has a film look, sort of like " Wonder Woman ", since it too was shot on film. I liked the picture quality - not much to complain about in my opinion.

Audio - plan on cranking this past reference level. i didn't think the bass was very aggressive or strong, but once I figured out that the volume needed to be set at " 11 " ( don't try that with The Dark Knight Rises unless you want speakers exploding ), it sounded pretty good. I'm not sure why it needed to be cranked so high, but it does.

also disney is infamous about compressing the mix...so TURN IT UP)

I kept creeping up the volume during the movie after I clued into that.

its mind boggling...I usually listen at -7db...but this one was at 0.0 and really could have gone higher

Same here. At -5 my wife asked why I didn't have it louder - and she's the one always telling me it's too loud and I'm going deaf ! That said, dialog was clear. Next time i watch it I'll just crank it to +5 to begin with !
