I watched an old favorite " guilty pleasure " sci fi flick last night - " Knowing ". The airplane crash scene made my guests jump right out of their seats ! Followed by the subway crash scene !

watched the first half of Transformers the last knight on 4k UHD


#1 reference disc hands down....holy cow is the picture incredible!  and the atmos is amazing as well....its defeintily turn your brain off fodder....but wow is it a sight and sound to behold@!

I watched 4k Starship troopers last night....I had never seen it before...ugg what a bad movie...was it intentionally supposed to be campy? not sure why this is such a beloved movie

Absolutely it's supposed to be campy ! And, it's a stealth critique of the first Gulf War. Although that went right over my head for a long time.

i guess this is part of the problem with NEVER reading about what movies are about/reviews as i want to be 100% surprised. lol

HA ! I have a couple that comes and watches movies a lot at our house. One day several years ago I mentioned a couple of new Blu-rays I had - " Planet Terror " and " Deathproof ". And they said " we saw those in the theater - those were terrible movies. And I said " 'you do know they were '50's B movie send ups / satires, right " ? And they said " what ? We thought they were serious " ! Haha !
