45 is generally considered the minimum, so 44 would be ok, but I wouldn't go lower.  Also, are the circles overhead Atmos speakers?  What is the height of the room?

Not any more precise than 45 degrees.  The Dolby recommendation is 45-60 degree angle.  Therefore 45 degrees is the minimum not the perfect.  52 degrees is roughly halfway between the minimum and maximum angles.  It actually does present the best soundstage.  Hope that helps.

if they give a range there is NO perfect....so anywhere in there is perfect so to speak

its all room dependant...to speak in absolutes of 52 degrees is wrong

"I prefer 52 degrees myself. " I read that as a preference in a specifik setup, dont see much wrong in that.. The way i see it, everybody is right in whatever they prefer, so therefore there is no right or wrong in a argument like this.

thats not how I read it..I read it exactly 52  degrees is how it shuld be set and the rest of the range is compromised

Absolutely correct.  It is a preference after listening to around 100 rooms.  45 will work, but I consider it the minimum.  It depends on room width and soundstage preferences.  Same as toe in angle etc.

Absolutely agree on preferences.  However, references are a set of standards which has been tested and widely accepted.  Such as 45-60 degrees.  That's a reference.  A preference, after hearing a lot of rooms, would be 52 degrees.  So it was read wrong that my preference of 52 degrees is hard and fast.  Far from it.  I frequently use the entire range.  Just depends on a number of factors.  However, I do prefer 52 degrees.  My two cents FWIW.
