I've heard a lot of good things about this series. I think I may have to check it out.

“ in the brightest day, the blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight”
Let those who worship evils might be wear my power, Green Lantern’s light.

If you don’t mind, there is something very disturbing to me about the Green Lantern TV show. Throughout its history, DC Comics. (and other publishers) have deprived their creators of their proper credits, and, frankly, the proper compensation.

For over 30 years DC Comics did not acknowledge that Siegel and Schuster created Superman and deserved compensation for it. It took a huge effort by many people in the industry to have the two finally acknowledged and they got a credit in the 1978 Superman movie.

Bill Finger was the co-creator of Batman and they took DC about 70 years to acknowledge that.

H.G. Peter was the co-creator an artist for Wonder Woman. He created her costume and the look of the strip. And he drew this trip for about the first 20 years. But his name was not put on the movie.

Even recently, on the movie, Supergirl, her creators were not mentioned as her creators.  The movie at the very end of the final credits, where most people have left the theater, just said thank you to Otto Binder and Al Plastino. They are not mentioned at the beginning when they give the major acknowledgments.

But at the very beginning of every Spider-Man movie, for example, when listing the credits they always mention “ Spider-Man created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.

Well,  the original Green Lantern of the 1940s was created by Bill (Batman) Finger and Martin Nodell.

The series was revived in the 1950s by John Broome and Gil Kane. They are not given any credit whatsoever on the Green Lantern TV show.
