Penthouse by pushing adult entertainment beyond its established boundaries. When Hustler publishes nude photos of a former First Lady, the magazine’s notoriety explodes.
As
Hustler’s profile grows, Flynt becomes a high-profile target in the culture wars, facing obscenity charges and a series of legal battles over First Amendment rights. His fiercest allies are his dedicated attorney Alan Isaacman (
Edward Norton,
Fight Club) and Althea Leasure (
Courtney Love,
Man on the Moon), the former stripper who becomes his wife. The cast also includes
