Have you seen any films in a Cinerama theater?

Having lived in the L.A. area, I've been fortunate to see many films at "The Dome" in Hollywood. Quite the spectacle!

I would like to visit a Cinerama someday, but I'd have to go solo.  My wife and I went to a similar venue in the Wisconsin Dells many, many years ago.  It had a 180-degree view, and here were no seats, it was standing room only.  There were waist-high posts scattered about that you could steady yourself with, but the effect was unnerving.  One couldn't help but lean into turns for the short movie, and some people would lose their balance.  My wife couldn't watch for more than a couple of minutes without feeling like she was getting sick, so she'll never return to that kind of experience.

It was pretty remarkable, though.  It would be fun to see an actual movie like that.
My Room:  26’-1” X 17’-4” X 10’
Equipment:  Monolith HTP-1 feeding X7 and X9 amps, JVC RS3100, Elite Screens 135"", JBL Studio 590 for L, C, R, W, R, 580s for sides and four SCS8 for tops, JTR Captivator 1400 x 4, Panny DP-UB420K, Toshiba HD-A35. Nvidia Shield, Sonos Connect, MX-780 remote

Now that I think about this, I have seen something similar when Disneyland had an attraction similar to this that closed in 1997. It was a full 360 degrees though and like Scott mentioned, there were railings for people to hold onto during the show. They had 11 different screens that surrounded the room. The movie they played was "A Tour of the West," and it was an attraction that we always visited when at the park.
