This makes me pine for the days of Charles Rodrigues' great cartoon work from days gone by.

Here's a good retrospective of his work over the decades:  Flashback 1958: If Not for Charles... | Sound & Vision

Its' remarkable just how many of the cartoons remain true today!

His work was collected in the book Total Harmonic Distortion, but it's out of print and used copies are going for over $75.
