What's the most difficult thing in home theater to explain to someone new to the hobby? Maybe anamorphic? How about e-shift?

Not the most difficult, but more like the most common--explaining aspect ratio! Common response is "this is stupid," why isn't there just one standard :)

that a soundbar isnt "enough" lol

but i really cant think of a term that is tough to explain.  it all seems pretty easy to explain.  there is just a LOT to know
