Well, not quite that long.

I'm a metalhead... though weirdly I mostly skipped it from about 18 - 40 to be mostly a jazz snob.

But I wasn't into hair metal, at all, and only really discovered Cinderella in the past year or two. Their singer, Tom Keifer, has an interesting story and a pretty great voice. In the midst of their early 90s heyday he suddenly lost his ability to sing, and it took years to figure out the issue (a rare nerve problem) and rehabilitate it.

At any rate, I have come to like a lot of their stuff - it's bluesier and grittier (and occasionally even funky, see below) than most of their counterparts, with what I think is a 70's Aerosmith influence.
