Wow, 10Gbps! I live just outside of Atlanta and I can get 2Gbps up/down but it's $299.99 a month! Since I'm not in one of the neighborhoods offering Google Fiber Comcast has yet to offer the 1Gbps to my neighborhood which is a more reasonable, but still expensive, $140 a month. Most importantly is the data caps. If these new speeds come along with caps it pretty much kills 4k streaming. I have 150Mbps/10 currently but a 1TB monthly cap so I wouldn't even touch 4k streaming at this point.

Even $299.99 is too rich for my blood... I want under $100 a month and prefer under $75 for just internet.

That is pretty expensive ! I can buy ( on sale ) perhaps 150 4K UHD Blu Rays or 200+ Blu Rays for what a year would cost me. If internet speeds like that are even available where I live - ever ( doubtful ).

I agree, but where are you getting 4K discs for $2 each, and BR discs for $1 each?

I think he was saying for the cost of a full year. So $3600 or $24 each

Correct, although I just picked up a pile of 4K BR's during Black Friday week for $ 17.99, and a bunch of Blu Rays for as low as $ 6.00. Even got Tarantino's new movie for $ 8.00 ( which I haven't seen yet ).

I have ripped all of my Media to my UnRaid NAS. currently I use various apps on my tablet to control everything, but I am now trying to get iRule setup so it is easy for anyone to select a movie, and watch it from the tablet or phone.
