I recently reviewed two of these subs (and they are still in my room). Fabulous doesn't begin to describe their performance:  Review Link

Still working on the "need behind the need" aspect of the subs ;)

Thanks for the review. I love subs even with my 2-channel system. I'm running an older 15" Velodyne (in the 2-channel system) that uses some type of servo control. I think it makes a difference in the sub's ability to be, as you wrote, more musical and tends to help keep its frequency response flatter.

So the big question is............did your wife OK you to keep them? ??? ;) ::)

Have you tried any of these on her?

  • But honey, I can write these off our taxes as professional research.  (Unless she does your taxes, she'll never know.)
  • Dear, don't you love how well the gloss finish complements the excellent design choices you've made for the room?
  • You have to understand, just like you complete me, these subwoofers really complete the room

Just trying to help.
