I happened to come across a TV show called Fractured Flickers this morning. It aired 60 years ago, hosted by instantly recognizable host Han Conried, it featured clips of old silent movies edited into absurd news stories. This particular episode had a segment with Bob Newhart, and is oddly prescient for the current state of Hollywood and the actors' union:While this was handled humorously 60 years ago, technology has made the topic surprisingly relevant today.Scott
I'm sure I watched Fractured Flickers as a kid growing up in Illinois, but I don't remember anything about it - including this skit!
