 A few months ago I was thanked for “taking one for the team” when I saw “Blonde” and gave it a bad review. I am glad you missed it, you will never get those three hours back!  It was really bad, but Ana De Armas was still beautiful and she was not the blame.  I also did not like the new Disney live action Pinocchio.

Well, the Razzie awards, for the Worst Performances and movies of the year, were announced.  Note that Ana’s performance was not knocked, but the movie was!

These days it is rare for people to show a little class and kindness. The Razzie  awards actually did this. They nominated a 12-year-old girl for worst actress, which is a terrible thing to do for a child. Today they announced that they made a mistake. They withdrew her name, And then gave a very sincere apology. They then announced that they have changed their rules and they would never nominate someone under 18 years of age. But it really was a sincere apology. Not one of those apologies that begin with the phrase “if we did something wrong.”
