I loved my SIM2 Lumis when I owned it. We have access to this version ( not discontinued ) -

While we can argue the many merits of laser, regardless of the light source, it is important to hit P3 with all 3 primaries. In this regard the SIM2 AR delivers. I am confident that many would find the SIM2 AR superior to its competing 4k Lcos projectors if given a chance to view both technologies side by side. Most of their projectors have been historically, well-loved by reviewers. However, they never got the name recognition that Epson, JVC, and Sony did.
