Anyone using the Aussie MX5 Anamorphic Lens?

Is anyone using the Aussiemorphic Lens MK5 Lens with an NX5, NX7, or NX9? I'm looking for an alternative to the very expensive Panamorph lens, but most of the information I find about the MK5 is nearly 10 years old. Cinematic Audio Visual eXperience: The New Aussiemorphic Lens MK 5

I've heard of them, but never used one. They aren't designed to make use of the full 4096 x 2160 panel, are they? Not that you couldn't just use 3840 x 2160.
