Sorry to hear about your pet.
Sorry to hear this. My condolences.
My wife & I have 2 rescues. We started with rescues in 2014 when we moved into our current house, which has a fenced back yard and some nice neighborhood streets for walking. Our first one was a Corgi-Terrier mix about 5-6 years old, and was just a terrific dog - well mannered and started picking up tricks and play including frisbee fetch, which I loved. But 6 months later she got sick and we after she didn't respond to initial treatments, and x-ray revealed advanced pancreatic cancer. They euthanized her that day. My wife bawled for a week and it was rough for me too. We don't have kids so in just 6 months she'd become our "kid". We watched the 2019 movie Togo tonight (via Disney+). Wonderful story and not as sappy as some dog movies.
