I finally got around to watching Rear Window on 4K Blu-ray, part of the Alfred Hitchcock Classics 4K Blu-ray Collection. I may have seen this movie many years ago, but it's been so long I didn't really remember much. What an outstanding film! The dialog / script is just cracking, and the movie is loaded with one liners, and is really funny at times. That's something I definitely didn't remember. Grace Kelly is stunning, great playing off Jimmy Stewart, and the rest of the cast is pitch perfect! The picture looks as good as it can, although not perfect at times, pretty good for a movie made 2 years before I was born ( 1954 ). Audio is 2 channel but perfectly serviceable for a dialog driven film.
All in all, I really enjoyed watching this again, as did my two guests. On the the rest of the box set - slowly but surely.
