Just about everybody likes looking at pictures - as long as they are not of your mother-in-law’s best friend’s grandchildren that you have already seen 10 times. 
We’re talking electronics  … powerful projectors, awesome AVR’s, spectacular speakers and absolutely amazing automation apparatuses. We want to see it all, whether you built it yourself or had it customed designed and professionally installed.  Join in the fun and post photos of your home theater, media room, man cave or chick-flick haven; big or small, all are welcome. Keep in mind that we do reserve the right to remove anything that might be offensive to others. We will be posting random pictures, at our discretion, to our website and rotating them occasionally, so anything you upload acknowledges your consent and release.

The 18's in the baffle wall are subs. The three 18's below the screen are the woofers (TD18H+) for my LCR's.

The current state of my theater -

Fairly modest compared to Mike and Craig, but I am very happy with my living room. I have an Epson 6040, 109" Grandview fixed frame, Def Tech 9060s for left, right and center. Two Klipsch subs, Denon 3400, with Atlantic Tech surrounds to complete the 7.2. Control4 EA1 with a few light switches round off my system.

I don't have a dedicated home theater like most have here. I do have on the other hand, a multi-purpose room which is used as a game room / home theater room.

Samsung UN75F8000 LED TV, NAD T-777 (7.2 Receiver), Oppo 103 Blu Ray Player, Sony PS4 Gaming Console, Wii U Gaming Console, Panamax MR-5100 Surge Protection, 7 Paradigm Reference series 8" in ceiling speakers (AMS-150R) - 30 degree tilting speakers, 2 Paradigm SE Subs.

Laying out 151”  ULTRA WEAVE V7 screen from the AV Science. Using Paper and tape to layout screen distances, soundstage and reflections. Going with 7 focal inwall 300 Series speakers ($7850.00), four sonance 8” in ceiling (repurposing) and two SVS SB-2000. A 7.2.4 atmos setup of a MARANTZ  SR7013. This is my first home theater project. So I know many future upgrades. Very open to suggestions.

If you’re going to leave the left side open then I’d suggest heavy absorption on the right side to maintain balance. An open wall is the equivalent of an absorber.

Thanks you for the support. I am adding 4 absorption panels and thinking of adding 4x4 inch corner foam blocks behind MDF BOARD. (Combination of diffusion / absorption ) I don’t know what this would do. But since the absorption panels stick out from the wall 5 inches, I figured I would have the MDF panel also stick out 5 inches and backfill it with something. ( 4x4 foam block) 🤷🏽‍♂️

Since I live alone, this is my living area. Not a normal living area but I worked with what I have. It sounds good and looks great at nite.
During daylight hours. Cant really see but that is a 50 inch TV on wall.

My equipment is such.
AVR = Nad 777v3
Amps= Emotiva XPA3 v2 and Outlaw 7700, sub amps Beringer NX 3000 and 6000 dsp models
Speakers, DIY 1299 and six volt 6's on wall and ceiling for a 5.6.4 system.
Subs two 18's in front and four 18 behind seats built into counter/bar seating.
Twelve 2'x4' Absorption panels are all DIY.
Black velvet on front wall with push pins 6 foot out from screen.
Projector is a JVC 540.
Screen is a 110" electric on a trigger switch when projector is turned on.

I like the look, and audio including bass has never sounded better in my theater. Even my wife frequently comments on the sound ( the picture being great at this point is a given ).
