Another BIG thumbs up for The Expanse, which I've mentioned elsewhere before.

To make it relevant to this thread - I'll probably wait for an "all season" 4K box set but add it to my collection when that's available.

Also, my collection on blu-ray.com is at 115 4K movies (94 SKUs due to some box sets), but growing slower now.
I'm not currently streaming anything, so that's probably going to be what I do too.

To clarify I mean in terms of purchasing the show in any form. I'm watching on Amazon Prime in 4K as it airs. In contrast, I watched GoT as it aired but then bought individual season BD sets. (Ironically now that the GoT 4K series box is here I'm conflicted because of the botched final season that just keeps getting worse in hindsight.)

Craig - do you watch any TV shows, or only wait for BD or UHD discs? The first 3 seasons of The Expanse were on Syfy Channel before getting canceled and snapped up by Amazon. It's likely to be several more seasons - there are 9 books, the current season is 5 and will run through Feb '21. So an all seasons box would probably be 2025.

My wife is busy working on a start up business. She rarely has time to watch anything, and I've easily got 20 movies she's never seen right now. We just finally got around to watching End Game, after watching all of the Marvel movies in order over the last 7 1/2 months. That's how far behind she was movie wise ( and I hadn't seen a lot of the Marvel movies either until buying them on 4K this year ). So no, generally I watch 99% movies and almost no TV shows. Currently we are not subscribed to any streaming services - too busy. Typically I watch movies with friends 3 nights a week and with my wife on Friday or Sat. night. And that's about it. The exception was March when there was free / cheap streaming during the pandemic - watched a bunch of shows ( Picard, Homeland season 8, Tales from the Loop, Mrs. Maisel and Electric Dreams ) on Prime, then canceled everything.

TV shows are a big time commitment - where as a movie is like a one night stand!

Homeland - we bought each season on Blu-ray and watched it, as we didn't want to subscribe to Showtime, and probably wouldn't have watched anything else on it anyway. Only watched season 8 on Showtime last spring because they had 30 days free !

Here’s my collection. I got 284 4k movies and not even sure about the blu rays. Quite a bit. 900 at least. The first photo, I got 2 other shelves like this. Plus around 300 3D blu rays.  The second photo  :)

Ok. My ocd made me have to manually count my 3D’s. 241. Now that that’s over. On to the next thing. Lol. :D
