Plot

My Thoughts
When I read the press release for this it looked like something I would enjoy and boy was I right. While it isn’t a feel good movie by any stretch, it will definitely get your blood boiling as you watch how one of the largest chemical companies in the world, DuPont, ignored the massive scientific evidence it had at its disposal and subjected an entire community and its own employees to chemicals that were harmful to their health. Fortunately, the drive for the truth from lawyer Robert Bilott exposed the fraud from DuPont. Sadly, no one from the company has been held criminally responsible, which is a travesty.

Conclusion
Movie such as this shows the fraud and corruption that companies get away with in this country. Granted, these are isolated cases, but if we held the executives who make these decisions criminally liable and throw them in prison for their misdeeds, then maybe these types of travesties will stop happening. We faced a similar issue in California with PG&E as was depicted in Erin Brockovich, but of course no one went to prison over that either. If you’re looking for a great drama that deals with a true-life event, definitely check this one out. Highly recommended.
