 Plot
 Aaron Eckhart (Olympus Has Fallen) stars as Frank Penny, a disgraced cop looking for a shot at redemption. When the police chief’s 11-year-old daughter is abducted, Frank goes rogue to try and save her. But to find the girl, Frank will need the help of Ava Brooks (Courtney Eaton), whose live-streaming news channel is broadcasting Frank’s every move. While a city watches, Frank and Ava race against time in this explosive action-thriller.
  
 My Thoughts
 The film starts with a frenetic pace and does a decent job of setting up our hero as a maverick cop just trying to do his job as long as management gets out of the way. When he disobeys a direct order, he ends up in a bad place and in order to set the world right again, he teams up with Brooks—which is where the screenplay completely falls apart. I’m not against checking your brain at the door for films, but this one goes way too far off the rails and it because laughable the deeper you get into the film.
 
On the plus side, the A/V quality was good and the 2.39:1 image featured crisp detail and accurately rendered colors. The soundtrack was about what you’d expect from a thriller, but nothing really stood out as groundbreaking.

 Conclusion
 2019 wasn’t a particularly good year at the movies and this film is unfortunately becoming more of the norm. An action-based plot with a story that’s so unbelievable it’s no wonder why outside of a few blockbusters from Disney there’s very few reasons to venture out to the theater if this is the garbage they expect us to pay our hard-earned money for. This one will be on basic cable in no time.
