I guess when Midsommar arrives it will be up to me to review it, since David doesn't like Horror films much. I on the other hand like Horror but don't watch any animation to speak of, so we can split those genres up. 8)

Barry, I'm not sure there's a reason to upgrade 1-3 to 4K since they would be upconverted titles anyway. The animation was rendered in 1080p.

I'll have to see Toy Story 4.

As for the 4K versions of 1-3, they look amazing in 1080p in my room.

I purchased "Hercules in the Haunted World" because I wanted to see a Mario Brava film. What I got was a BIG surprise! The is a Region A disc and I have an OPPO 205 player.. BUT, the film will not recognize the player and continually states on screen that I have to play it on a Region A player!

Any suggestions other than returning it back to amazon.com?!

There's really no way to get around region protections without a mod. Did you try it in a different player?

David,

If I had a fortune perhaps that would be an option...but, alas, I'll just have to return it. But it makes no sense...Buying a Region A disc only to have it not play on a Region A player.

Sorry for the sarcasm...it's been onme of those days!

Thanks for your input.

Maybe see if your retailer can exchange it. Either that or take it down to a local store and see if it works in one of their players. I've never heard of this happening before...it must be your day for sure. Be sure to look both ways before crossing any intersections!

That is very odd. Maybe a bad disc.
