Wow - watched this last night ( a blind buy ) and everyone loved it ! A great sci-fi horror / thriller. I'm not going to give any spoilers here, but the premise is different. I love the concept of the film. highly recommended.
The picture on my RS4500 looked awesome. The is some grain visible at times, but it's not distracting. Overall this is a nice, bright, detailed transfer. This was shot on film. I haven't compared the Blu-ray and 4K version. It's not as super sharp as the best 4K Blu-ray shot on digital video out there, but it looks very good.
The soundtrack is top notch. A lot of the film is very quiet, punctuated by explosive soundtrack action. LFE was very good - my 4 SVS subs got a workout at times ( and then a rest
). Guests nearly tossed their wine glasses a few times thanks to the soundtrack !
I also thought the 90 minute run time was perfect - too many movies seem to be just a little too long these days at 2 1/2 hours. This movie told it's story well in 90 minutes !
