I loved this outstanding ( in my opinion ) western / character study. Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike had outstanding performances in this film, which also has a great supporting cast.
The 4K Blu - ray picture is top notch. Extremely detailed, this is pretty much a reference quality disc - picture and sound wise. There is some film grain at times, but I never found it bothersome.
I've been a lover of Westerns since I was a kid. While I don't always like the modern " revisionist " Westerns as much as the old classics, this film I did really like. Recommended !
