This one is the frontrunner for best picture at this sundays AA. I liked it alot...but it left me wanting a bit and I didnt get over emotionally attached to any character. OUTSTANDING performances...by all that are nominated for awards...they are all deserving...Funny funny movie..with a badass Mom...and interesting story line...just didnt fully do it for me as other best pictures have,

Image is outstanding...crisp...detailed..and super colorful (my favorite is when therer is a conversation...and a train is going by in the background..with the ameican flag in the corner...so many different colors an levels of shadow...)

Sound is 5.1...and not much to write home about...although there are a few nice dynamic parts (no spoilers here)

If your into checking out the nominated pictures...definitly check this one out..especially for 4k loveliness

I watched this Sat. night with my wife. Really interesting characters and screen play. I loved it, and see it as a really black comedy ( at least at times ). Great casting too ! My wife wasn't sure about it, but the next day liked it more ( after some reflection on the movie ). The picture was sharp as a tack at times. I might use this for screen shots with and without the Panamorph Paladin DRC lens later this week.

I've watched this 3 times now. I think it's the new " Fargo " - it's now one of my favorite movies from last year. I think it gets better with repeat viewings. Looks damn good on the RS4500 / Paladin DCR lens combo -

This movie is super sharp, and i probably should use a custom gamma curve that isn't as bright, since my camera had a hard time with some images due to how bright they were ( that's a new problem - too bright ) !

Picture wise, this 4K disc is about as good as it gets !
