Really glad you are enjoying Craig. Image looked fantastic while I was there! The RS4500 continues to be one of the best projectors out there.
Just catching up on this thread.I've been loving my RS4500. I'm still astounded how good this can look. Since I own a Lumagen I recently checked out the dynamic tone mapping and it worked very well. However, I primarily use my Lumagen as a video switcher as I use a HTPC with madVR (for scaling and HDR tone mapping). One thing that really upped my game is using the BT2020 filter. It makes what I feel is a significant difference (color saturation, depth) that was never possible before dynamic tone mapping - which can compensate for the light loss of the filter (along with easing up on the manual iris). I have a decent sized screen and used to have to use high laser to get a satisfying image but for the past year I only use mid laser and the image I get is just incredible. The shadow detail is so much better now - it's as if I upgraded to a new projector with higher contrast.
Yes, Alita looks amazing. There's still a lot of movies that I haven't seen yet - I have lots to look forward to!In the past week I saw two great looking ones: Sully & The Greatest Showman. Very impressive on our projector!
