Sony unveiled a new UPB X1000ES 4K Blu-ray Player at Cedia

I believe the price is $ 599.00. Could be an alternative to the Oppo 203 and Panasonic UB900.

I've installed 3 already and it's an amazing player, by far the best I've seen to date!

In my opinion yes, especially when paired with a Sony TV or Projector.

I own the UB900, have the Oppo 203 on order and plan to order this player to see which one I like best. I will likely keep two of them and sell one.
