From the Arrow Video US press release:
On
October 20, the android-staffed “time-travel” amusement park returns in
Futureworld, the sequel to
Westworld, making its global 4K UHD debut.
Yul Brynner (
The Magnificent Seven) returns as the iconic robot Gunslinger. The Limited Edition release features a 4K restoration. There is also a Limited Edition Blu-ray release.
The immersive theme park Delos reopens two years after the Westworld disaster, following more than $1.5 billion in safety improvements and upgrades to its androids. Reporters Chuck Browning (
Peter Fonda,
Easy Rider) and Tracy Ballard (
Blythe Danner,
Meet the Parents) tour the park on a press junket to see for themselves whether Delos is truly safe again. The reporters soon learn about the park’s frightening new technology from an employee (
Stuart Margolin,
The Rockford Files) as they investigate behind the scenes.
Futureworld also made cinematic history as the first major feature film to use 3D computer-generated imagery.
Special features include a 4K (2160p) UHD Blu-ray presentation in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible); original restored lossless mono audio; optional English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing; a brand new audio commentary; a brand new interview with producer
Paul N. Lazarus III; an archival behind-the-scenes featurette chronicling filming at the Johnson Space Center; the theatrical trailer; TV and radio spots; image gallery; and a collectors’ booklet.

This time, it's failsafe.

Glad to see this as a followup release to Westworld; and with some brand-new extras for this disc.
