Here's another review that disappeared:
Plot
Jurassic Park
On a remote tropical island, an amazing living theme park becomes a game of survival for humans foolhardy enough to set foot on it. Meticulously recreated dinosaurs spring to astonishing life as a multimillionaire (Richard Attenborough) bankrolls an effort to use advanced DNA technology to bring dinosaurs back to life. When an employee shuts down the security system for personal monetary gain all hell breaks loose when the dinosaurs escape forcing the visitors to play a game of cat and mouse with the deadly prehistoric creatures.
The Lost World
Four years since the disaster at Jurassic Park, two groups are in a race against time that will determine the fate of the remote island’s prehistoric inhabitants.
Jurassic Park III
Adventure runs wild when a renowned paleontologist agrees to accompany a wealthy couple on an aerial tour of InGen’s former breeding ground for prehistoric creatures.
Jurassic World
Now, 22 years later, an even bigger and enormously popular attraction has risen on Isla Nubar: Jurassic World. To keep attendance high, the park operators introduce a new, genetically modified hybrid creature called Indominus Rex. Bigger, stronger and far more intelligent than any dinosaur that ever walked the earth; the secretive new breed also proves more dangerous than anyone ever anticipated. Executive-produced by franchise creator Steven Spielberg and directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed), Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, “Parks and Recreation”) as Owen Grady, the park’s ex-military expert in animal behavior, and Bryce Dallas Howard (The Help, The Twilight Saga), as Claire Dearing, Jurassic World’s driven careerist, teaming up to save the park’s tourists when chaos erupts.
My Thoughts
Throughout movie history there are certain films that change the way movies are made and
Jurassic Park
certainly qualifies due to its cutting-edge use of CGI effects. Even to this day, the dinosaurs depicted in the film look so lifelike it's kind of creepy. When it hit theaters in 1993, it blew audiences away and became an instant classic.
The first two sequels are inferior in every regard, but still have some fun moments in them. Hollywood is in the process of resurrecting past franchises and they actually did a great job with the reboot with Chris Pratt in the lead role. Since the fifth film is coming out in June of this year, Universal is capitalizing on the marketing and has brought all four films to UHD Blu-ray in a boxed set

Conclusion
None of the sequels match the magic that the first film had when it hit theaters 25 years ago, but each of them have their good points—except for the third one, it’s mediocre at best for the story and the video quality. The reboot is well done due to Chris Pratt’s likability and the improvement in special effects, which has given a fresh face to the franchise for a younger audience and who doesn’t like dinosaurs?. This UHD set is a must own for fans and while the improvement over the Blu-ray’s aren’t vast, they do look better and the addition of DTS:X tracks is a nice bonus.
