SYNOPSIS

Man, I have fond memories of watching this movie as a kid.  The stop motion work by Ray Harryhausen had me transfixed and really stoked my imagination.  Great to see this get a 4K UHD release.

Honest to gosh, I was just discussing with my brother how much I wanted a 4K version of this movie. it is one of the first movies I ever saw and helped me fall in love with cinema. I can’t wait for it to come out and show it to my young nieces. my brother took me to this movie when I was young and now I’ll be able to show it to his children.

That's great, Barry!  Glad to hear you're even more fond of it than I am.  The special effects were amazing for the time, and while today's artists are able to do fantastic work, there's an element of charm and magic that Harryhausen added to all of these films that is hard to match.
