DVHS?

DVHS?
« on: April 30, 2026, 02:57:14 PM »
Anyone still using DVHS? I need blank tapes from time to time and is there anyone out there fixing/recapping the older players like the JVC 30000? Sent someone here to get info about getting their DVHS Player fixed and I found out the whole site had been revamped again and all the older posts are all gone.

I'm no longer using it, but I actually still have a player (Mitsubishi HS-HD2000U) and a couple of unopened Fujifilm S-VHS 120 tapes. If you're interested in either, just pm me and perhaps we can work something out!

Thanks, I have a newer model with the HDMI out, and the older 30000 still. So all set on decks, the tapes I do need, but not till closer till end of this year. Also prefer to stick with the DVHS blank tapes.

Gotcha. If you ever run into someone wanting one, let me know. I tried to sell it a long time ago, but didn't put that much effort into it. It's just sitting in a TV cabinet in a bedroom.

One of the first ways HD quality TV was available required the use of a physical OTA antenna - mine is still up there, attached to the chimney! This device allowed digital recording, so perfect quality, of these digital HD sources, on an device that is otherwise analog.

Basically an early type of DVR.
