While restoring the masterpiece on the wall, Stefano hears salacious rumors circulating around town. The original artist reportedly performed horrifying torture on his models to capture the right emotions for the painting. Stefano uncovers startling details in the artwork that reveal the true fate of those who posed. While the crimes of the past are being exposed, a killer inspired by the fresco is claiming fresh victims.
