From the Arrow press release:

On October 28, the Lovecraftian nightmare In the Mouth of Madness makes its global 4K UHD debut. In the final installment of his “Apocalypse Trilogy,” director John Carpenter (Escape from New York, The Thing) spins a chilling tale of the search for a bestselling author whose work literally drives readers insane. In The Mouth of Madness features a brand new 4K restoration from the original 35mm camera negative, and is packed with hours of special features, collectible packaging, and newly commissioned extras.

Insurance investigator John Trent (Sam Neill, Jurassic Park) gets hired by publisher (Charlton Heston, Planet of the Apes) to locate missing author Sutter Cane (Jürgen Prochnow, Dune). The reclusive writer hasn’t delivered his next novel, In The Mouth of Madness, and readers are becoming violent as they wait for the book. Using clues from Cane’s previous books, Trent and Sutter’s editor (Julie Carmen, Fright Night Part 2) locate the author’s remote hiding place, and discover that the town’s residents resemble the characters in his horror stories. Are they all trapped in the pages of Sutter Cane’s imagination?

Special features include archival audio commentary with director John Carpenter and producer Sandy King Carpenter; archival audio commentary with John Carpenter and director of photography Gary B. Kibbe; brand new audio commentary; newly filmed interviews; archival interviews; a new featurette; a new appreciation; an archival featurette of the filming locations; behind-the-scenes footage; a vintage making-of featurette; the theatrical trailer and TV spots; a double-sided fold-out poster; and a Perfect bound collector’s book featuring new writing on the film.
