Insurance investigator John Trent (Sam Neill, Jurassic Park) gets hired by publisher (Charlton Heston, Planet of the Apes) to locate missing author Sutter Cane (Jürgen Prochnow, Dune). The reclusive writer hasn’t delivered his next novel, In The Mouth of Madness, and readers are becoming violent as they wait for the book.
