Planet Earth II in 4k / Directv and Dish

Beginning Saturday February 18, both Directv and Dish will premiere the new Planet Earth II in 4K.  There are six weekly episodes in total.   

Directv:  9PM ET on Channel 104
Dish: Channel 540

Time to free up some space on my DVR.

This would be great, IF I had a 4K Hopper. Which I do not.

Picture quality was pretty stunning in 4K24 4:4:4 10-bit.   No HDR though.

But either there is a problem with my Directv equipment or Directv has an issue mixing audio.   All of the DD 5.1 dialog was sent to the right front speaker.  Much of the background sound as well.   It was extremely annoying.

It's probably not my equipment as there were a couple of 4K24 rock music performances just before the Planet Earth episode began and they did not have any issue with sound placement.   I switched over to the BBC America channel HD presentation and there was no audio issue with it.
