Just had 4 friends over ( and my wife )  to watch " Rich Crazy Asians ". A really fun movie ! Looks and sounds great on 4K too!

Next week I already have " Black Klannsman " on Monday, guest's choice Wed., " Die Hard " on 4K Thursday, maybe " Isle of Dogs " Friday, and perhaps an encore performance of " Fallout " Tuesday.

I'm looking forward to watching " Crazy Rich Asians " again - there were some great jokes and lines in it. I won't repeat them here.

I replaced my Emotiva XPA-200 amp and the Parasound New Classic 275 v.2 running my center channel with a new Parasound Halo A 52+ running my main front speakers ( Wide / L / C / R / Wide ). The X8500 can play seriously clean and loud now. So far it would seem to be a good upgrade. Probably total overkill, but what the heck.

I re-organized my equipment rack, which was a pain, but ultimately it's now better organized -

I'm envious of your high ceilings, and unobstructed view to the screen.

Mine is in a converted basement room. My ceilings are under eight feet and I have a support column (almost in front of the front left speaker) to deal with. "First world problems", I know.

This is an over garage bonus room. The high ceilings really help with the audio - ceiling Atmos / height speakers have plenty of space. There is no room in the attic to run wires though - the same scissor truss design that gives me tall ceilings also gives a tiny attic !

"The best thing I did was build a " projector closet " to hide the projector"  I love that.  I guess a great many people like to display their equipment, but I would rather hide all the lights and NOT heat up my room running amps.  MY garage is next to my media room and I simply put my amps in there.

It REALLY bothered by dealer because he wanted everyone to see everything.  Honestly, my friends would not know a Stewart's screen from a sun screen. And they never heard words such as "Krell," "Oppo," and "Day Sequerra."  If it ain't a Sony or Panasonic, they don't care.

I wanted to show the amps in my garage, but I don't know how to put a [picture in a response here. Can someone tell me?

Mostly I don't want to ever have to hear the projector ! They don't have projectors in the room at a commercial cinema, why should I ? To post photos - use " attach " at the bottom of your post !

I would love to hide my projector but the rear wall of my room is a stairwell. I do have all my equipment in an AV closet at the rear of the theater but putting the projector in there would not work due to the stairs.

My left and right are in room towers, the center is fairly large and sits on a stand, and the sub sits in the front as well. My surrounds are GoldenEar in-ceiling speakers. 

I would love to hide it all but I don't have the space to build an acoustically transparent screen.

When my wife and I looked for a house, it had to have a good space for a home theater, a wine cellar and an indoor climbing wall !

Adding two more SB2000's has helped the LFE equation quite a bit. I don't feel like the subs need to work too hard to make the room shudder during war movies now ! And they are hidden - at least the ones in the front ( nobody should be looking behind anyway ). 

Next up - another 10 bass traps, coming soon !
