JVC NX5 SDR Changes on Power Off

I have my SDR set to "User 1" but every time I power it off it reverts back to "Cinema"

I see that it's on "Auto" and I can change it to just "SDR" but will that mean I have to manually change it when it's HDR content?

Did you try going to the picture mode select setting. And selecting what you want sdr to go to. This is with firmware 3.5

Under second tab of menu should be there. Click that.
