i completly understand your position. from everything i read the envy is a great unit..and super easy to use/setup. that alone might be worth the premium for some.
yes the higest model of LRP is $8k but not necessary and VERY diminished returns imho. (read that as i doubt 99% of people would notice a difference)
cant go wrong with either at this point. and its goods to have options
