Unfortunately, I don't have any other information on this. I was told an update to this collaboration was coming with the new firmware. Though, to be honest, I don't know why anyone would want to use this over the DTM solution available to the projector. It's considerably better overall.

I agree, even with just Frame Adapt, I would use it over the Panasonic.

Hello. For the RS2000, are there discrete codes for switching from low lamp to high lamp?  Thanks.

No...I wish there were though as well as discrete codes to change the HDR DTM setting.

I don't know about IR codes, but the RS232 codes (in case you have serial access) are:

Normal  Lamp Power: 21 89 01 50 4D 4C 50 30 0A
High Lamp Power: 21 89 01 50 4D 4C 50 31 0A

Received my RS2000 today and will get to put it up tomorrow. Coming from a Sony HW45ES so I think it will be a good upgrade. Can finally start enjoying some of those 4K Bluray's. Thanks Mike.

Cool.  I am going to see if there is a way to integrate this with HDFury.  Thanks!

I will be interested in your experiences, I too have a 45ES.

I'm not a movie person like Mike, Craig and others. I primarily stream 1080p motorcycle racing and watch an occasional movie once a month or two or three.

Depending on how important movies are to you, you might want to consider the Epson 5050. Sale ends today, but it is only $2,599.

I have put about 4 hours on the projector and it is very impressive.  The first thing I noticed was the sharpness of the focus.  It is great across the whole screen. The sony always seemed to have a softness to the focus but the JVC is razor sharp.  Watched the newest scan from Shout! of "Screamers", a movie on Netflix "Mara" (which honestly was just the creepy thing from the end of Rec terrorizing people) and about 15 minutes of the 4k version of Blade Runner 2049.  I used the settings for HDR I got from Mike, Low Lamp, Iris at -5 and Auto 2 and for SDR, Low Lamp, Iris at -10 and Auto 2.  These setting worked wonderfully for my environment and screen, SI Solo, 92" w/ Slate 1.2. I sit approximately 6 feet from the screen.  The room is fully light controlled and with the lamp on low I had plenty of pop. Overall I am very statisfied with the projector and it is a order of magnitude better than the Sony.

It's really not hard to figure out to be honest;). I'm wondering how long it will take before the swarm figures it out. It should get pretty interesting at that point
